Empowering You Through Domestic Support and Mentorship

Sydney Community Care Services understands the profound impact that domestic violence can have on women, affecting their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. That’s why, to provide a safe space for healing, and empowerment, we have established the Domestic Violence Support Hub. This is a dedicated support group exclusively for women, facilitated by an experienced social worker.
Held weekly in the Bonnyrigg region, this program provides professional guidance, mentorship, and a supportive environment where women can share their experiences, work through trauma, and build the resilience needed to regain their independence.
As a registered NDIS provider near you, we are dedicated to offering inclusive, and accessible support services that cater to the needs of all women, ensuring they receive the care, and guidance necessary to rebuild their lives.

A Safe Space For Healing And Growth
Our Domestic Violence Support Hub is more than just a gathering - it's a sanctuary for women seeking understanding, support, and encouragement. We recognise that each individual’s journey is unique and Sydney Community Care Services is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and non-judgmental environment where women feel comfortable to express themselves freely.

What We Provide As A Domestic Violence Support Hub

Our support centre focuses on important topics intended to help women get beyond trauma and move forward in a constructive way:
Peer Connection And Emotional Support
- Secure & Friendly Environment: We offer a confidential, secure setting where women can freely express their struggles, anxieties, and experiences.
- Peer Support: Make connections with people who have experienced comparable difficulties to provide a sense of belonging, support, and community. Women can learn from these peer relationships that they are not alone.
Developing Self-Sufficiency And Life Skills
Creating Independence:
Receive assistance in becoming financially and personally independent. This covers advice
on professional advancement, financial preparation, and budgeting.
Resource Access:
Seek guidance on how to obtain necessary resources like housing, legal assistance, and job
services. A solid and safe future can be created with the aid of these resources.
Workshops for Developing Skills:
Take part in workshops that emphasise personal growth, resilience, and self-care. The goal of such programs is to give women the confidence to take control of their future and well-being.
